Here’s a guide through the epic adventures of HarmonQuest season 2. Dan Harmon began his career as the writer behind comedy shorts such as Computerman and cult TV pilot Heat Vision And Jack, starring Jack Black. He broke through with comedy series Community which debuted in 2009. The series starred Gillian Jacobs, Joel McHale, and Donald Glover, and its rapid-fire gags and meta-humor saw it attract a loyal cult following.
While Community eventually reached the six seasons part of it’s “six seasons and a movie” mantra, a big-screen version has yet to happen. Harmon is also co-creator of Rick And Morty. This sci-fi series became another cult smash when it arrived in 2013 and follows the intergalactic adventures of the title characters. Rick And Morty will return for season 4 in November 2019, which consists of ten episodes.
Given the constant shoutouts to other movies, TV shows and pop culture in his work, it’s little surprise to learn Dan Harmon is something of a geek. He hosts a popular podcast called Harmontown, which featured segments were Harmon and guests would play a role-playing game, which eventually evolved into HarmonQuest. This show is a mixture of live-action as Harmon, his co-hosts and a guest star play the RPG, interspersed with animated segments depicting their quest. Here’s an episode guide for HarmonQuest season 2.
