The Harry Potter: Wizards Unite potions are a huge part of the game, and so, we’ve put together a helpful guide on the potions lists, recipes/ingredients, and brewing. Wizards Unite is poised to take the mobile gaming world by storm now that it has released in most major markets. The game previously received a pseudo-beta period of a few weeks, during which time only users in Australia and New Zealand could take a spin on Niantic’s newest killer app. Now, though, more and more players are beginning to wonder - what’s the deal with Harry Potter: Wizards Unite potions?

The game does a satisfactory job of explaining what they are and how the function, of course. Harry Potter: Wizards Unite potions are basically buffs to a player’s character that last for a limited amount of time. They’re extremely useful in increasing a given quest’s viability or rate of success, and they have other functionality beyond just progressing through the game, too. The best part about Harry Potter: Wizards Unite potions, however, are that they’re craftable. Players will never be left scrounging through their environment desperately hoping for a specific rare potion to drop—as long as they collect every resource they find during their exploration, they’ll likely have enough to craft a potion or two whenever they’re needed.

Knowing how Harry Potter: Wizards Unite potions work is one thing, but making sure you’re using them effectively is quite another. We’ve compiled a list of each potion, how to craft them, and what they do, so that aspiring witches and wizards can plan for the challenges ahead and make sure they’re preserving specific resources for the potions they’ll need in the future. For a more basic rundown of how the game works, be sure to check out our Harry Potter: Wizards Unite tips, tricks, and beginner’s guide, but for those of us already familiar with the wizarding world, read on ahead to get the complete breakdown on Harry Potter: Wizards Unite potions brewing.
