A ton of new Marvel Legends figures were unveiled at Toy Fair 2018, including the Thing, Silver Surfer, Cloak & Dagger, Doctor Octopus, and Magneto. A new Spider-Man series was announced, and figures for the Deadpool and Venom waves were also revealed.

2018 is shaping up to the biggest year ever for Hasbro’s 6" Marvel Legends toy line. The Black Panther film received its own series at the start of the year. Next to be released is a Spider-Man series and a Deadpool series. To coincide with Avengers: Infinity War, Hasbro will release two waves of figures, including one with a movie-inspired Thanos as the build-a-figure. Fans can also expect a second Deadpool wave and for the first time, a Venom series. A series for Ant-Man and the Wasp has yet to be announced.

Hasbro surprised fans and collectors at Toy Fair 2018 with a whole slew of unexpected announcements. Among the toys revealed at the Hasbro panel were a number of MCU 10th Anniversary figures and Walgreens exclusives of Silver Surfer and the Thing.

Though Hasbro is already producing a record number of eight Marvel Legends waves in 2018, Hasbro announced the Sp//dr series, which will feature classic version of Doctor Octopus, Cloak & Dagger and Elektra. Also included is the Shadowland Daredevil, House of M Spider-Man, and Scarlet Spider in his red-and-black costume. Collecting all the figures in the series will allow fans to build Sp//dr, an alternate universe female version of the hero who operated a Spider-Man mech suit.

Marvel also filled in the gaps in the second Deadpool wave, which we already knew included an X-Men variant Deadpool, Lady Deadpool, and Omega Red. Fans will also be to collect a pantsless Deadpool and a 90s version of Bishop. The build-a-figure of the series will be Sauron, a classic villain of Ka-Zar and the X-Men. Sauron is a green-skinned mutant with the appearance of a pterodactyl.

Hasbro revealed that the previously announced Venom and Carnage figures will have interchangeable human heads. Marvel symbiotes Poison and Scream will be featured in the wave. Spider-Ham, a character often used for comedy relief, will have limited articulation. At SDCC 2018, Marvel announced the Ultimate Riders series which would feature Marvel characters with motorcycles. The first two to be announced were Ghost Rider and Black Widow. This weekend, Hasbro added Days of Future Past Wolverine to the series. Hasbro also showed off Marvel Legends figures for movie versions of Ant-Man and the Wasp, who will join Black Knight in the second Avengers: Infinity War wave.
