Bank of America has released another finding from its recent consumer survey, this time revealing the top nine reasons people have chosen to upgrade to the iPhone 7. Interestingly, the new camera capabilities isn’t number one, ranking instead at #3 …

Business Insider reports that the top reason, cited by 65% of respondents, was the longer battery-life. This was followed by improved waterproofing at 59%, then camera quality at 54%.

Rounding out the top nine were, in order of popularity, faster processor, ‘memory’ (by which people almost certainly refer to flash storage capacity), eligibility as part of a plan, dual cameras, design and color options (aka black).

The same survey yesterday reported that an amazing 12% of US consumers claim they will buy Apple’s AirPods when they go on sale next month.
