The decision to divide Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows in two films was the best the studio ever made, as it did justice to the story and sent the series off with a fitting two-part extravaganza. With these films having been viewed repeatedly so many times by fans in the last decade, it’s high time we compare them. Our conclusion is that Deathly Hallows – Part 2 was the better film of the two, and we’ve compiled a list of 10 points that back it up....

Justice League star Henry Cavill says to call the film “light” in tone is an “injustice.” With less than two weeks to go before the release of the DC Extended Universe follow-up to 2016’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, fans are getting anxious to see just how much Justice League differs from its predecessor, which got a mixed reception from both critics and fans. Events for Birds of Prey (And The Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) and the DC Universe’s Harley Quinn animated series have been announced for New York Comic-Con. The DC character has quite the year coming up, especially with the highly-anticipated release of the Margot Robbie-led Birds of Prey. The upcoming Warner Bros. and DC outing is directed by Cathy Yan and written by Christina Hodson. Along with Robbie returning as Quinn, Birds of Prey also stars an A-list cast that includes Jurnee Smollett-Bell as Black Canary, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Huntress, Rosie Perez as Renee Montoya, Ella Jay Basco as Cassandra Cain, Ewan McGregor as Black Mask, and Chris Messina as Victor Zsaz....

Harry Potter is, of course, the hero of the Wizarding World. He defeated Voldemort as a baby and a teen. He was a genius at Quidditch and Defense Against the Dark Arts. But, he was also a boy. There was magic involved, obviously, and the fate of the world, but Harry was also a boy and a teenager and did some very boy/teenager-y things, including being cruel to some of the people around him....

If events in the Harry Potter series had happened even slightly differently, Neville Longbottom might have been The Boy Who Lived. The prophecy could have easily been made for him, and he, too, was a brave Gryffindor who was instrumental in winning the Battle of Hogwarts and defeating Lord Voldemort. Neville doesn’t get enough credit for everything he did throughout his Hogwarts career, a time in which he grew and showed more progress than many other young witches and wizards....

Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry is the main setting of all the Harry Potter installments. With each of the students broken up by year and house (Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, and Slytherin) one of the only things all students have in common is the classes they take. The ending of Netflix’s Haunting of Hill House wrapped up the Crain family’s story quite nicely, but is it possible that the ending is really just a continuation of Luke’s dream inside the Red Room? Based on the novel of the same name by Shirley Jackson, Netflix’s 10-episode limited series, The Haunting of Hill House, was adapted by horror filmmaker Mike Flanagan and starred the likes of Michiel Huisman, Carla Gugino, and Timothy Hutton, among several more, as the members of the Crain family....

Damon Lindelof has discussed his and HBO’s upcoming Watchmen TV series, revealing that actor Robert Redford is the U.S. president in the show’s setting. Published from 1986 to 1987, Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons’ original Watchmen comic books satirized superhero tropes and tapped into real-world concerns (namely, the Cold War tensions between the Soviet Union and U.S.) with their narrative. The series would go on to mark a watershed moment in the way that comics are regarded, when it comes to their literary qualities and capacity for complex storytelling....

Apple Arcade is a new subscription service that offers an entire catalog of games for $4.99 a month. Games can be accessed on multiple devices and shared with up to six family members through iCloud Family Sharing. Hangman might just be one of the weakest movies of Al Pacino’s career, but he’s still kind of great in it.
