Most of the characters in the Harry Potter series have a solid sense of humor, but twins Fred and George Weasley are the star comedians and pranksters of the series. They mostly serve as lovable scamps, pulling pranks that occasionally go too far. They’re heroes too: they passed Harry the Marauder’s Map, they created a ton of “joke” items that were actually incredibly useful, and they both fought in the final Battle of Hogwarts, with Fred losing his life in the process....

One can often wonder how Hogwarts never got sued by thousands of concerned parents (Muggle or otherwise). The number of child-endangering incidents in that school is too damn high. At least it was ever since a certain Potter boy enrolled - probably just a coincidence… or a Dark Lord, who knows? Nevertheless, the Harry Potter school has more or less escaped that sort of scrutiny; perhaps one of the reasons for this is its quality teachers....

It’s the job of the Sorting Hat to divide the incoming students into their appropriate House based on personal traits. Harvey Weinstein and his legal team have reached a $44 million settlement in regards to the civil lawsuits over his alleged sexual misconduct, and claims against his company and associates. In October 2017, numerous women came forward with their stories, accusing Weinstein of sexual harassment, sexual assault and rape, resulting in Weinstein’s arrest and eventual firing from his own company, the Weinstein Company. A partnership between AT&T and city authorities will provide New Yorkers with 25 solar-powered phone charging stations to top up their phones and tablets, reports the New York Times. The technology itself is made by Goal Zero, who make a range of portable power products, both solar and battery. The roll-out is a pilot scheme, so we may see more solar charging stations to come. Adobe Fresco is a new tool for iPad illustrators promising a truly organic drawing and painting experience that accelerates workflows across multiple devices. Cast members Kim Dickens and Dayton Callie say HBO has gotten in touch with them to inquire about their availability for a possible Deadwood movie, another good indication that the network is moving forward with plans to produce a one-off film to wrap up the story left in limbo upon the cancellation of the acclaimed series.
