The initial iOS 14.4 beta includes a new feature that was first demonstrated during Apple’s iPhone 12 event. Harrison Ford returns to the big screen in The Call of the Wild, which hits theaters on February 21. He plays Jack Thornton, the man who finds salvation in a big-hearted dog named Buck and helps Buck find freedom in turn, in the latest adaptation of the classic novel. Earlier today, Apple took wraps off of a refreshed 12-inch MacBook just over a year after the line was first introduced. While Apple is touting that this MacBook is faster and offers longer battery life than last year’s model, the company is notoriously vague when it comes to sharing under-the-hood details on its product pages. We’ve done some digging, however, and will attempt to break down all of the differences between last year’s 12-inch MacBook and this year’s upgraded model....

The origin of Watchmen’s Looking Glass reveals that he has deeper ties to the graphic novel than suspected. Portrayed by Tim Blake Nelson, Looking Glass is one of Tulsa, Oklahoma’s masked police officers and he has arguably the most visually striking hood in the series, which is made of a uniquely shiny mirror-like material and is reminiscent of Rorschach’s mask. But Looking Glass is really Detective Wade Tillman and as Watchmen episode 5, “Little Fear of Lightning”, tells his backstory, Looking Glass turns out to be one of the show’s most tragic characters....

HBO’s Watchmen premiere on Sunday night scored the biggest ratings for a digital services in three years. This represented a strong start for a new HBO show series since Westworld’s season premiere back in 2016. Watchmen was first introduced to the big screen by director Zack Snyder, who later went on to serve as an architect for the early installments of the DC Extended Universe. The Bachelorette’s Hannah Brown opened up about letting go after Tyler Cameron took supermodel Gigi Hadid on a date. She posted an indirect message to Tyler on her Instagram story. As far as parental figures in Harry Potter are concerned, there really aren’t that many that function as reliable and healthy. Most of the parental figures in Harry’s life ends up dead, and the few other examples he has are either mostly absent from his life or nor the best examples. However, Molly Weasley is a consistent parental figure to Harry as well as mother to the seven Weasley children. Molly might not be a perfect parent since no one is, but she does do a lot of things right....

It’s pretty standard fare for actors from the Marvel Cinematic Universe to have incredibly successful careers and passionate fanbases too. But you’d be hard pressed to find an actress within the MCU who’s had a more expansive career, and a more hyper vocal fanbase, than British actress Hayley Atwell. The 37-year-old actress has been working consistently for nearly the last 15 years, but since entering the Hollywood landscape as a recurring supporting player in Marvel, Atwell’s star has risen and her career has taken off along with it....

Craig Mazin, the writer of HBO’s The Last of Us adaptation, promises to stay faithful to the video game’s characterization of the protagonist, Ellie, as a lesbian. HBO announced the adaptation was in development with Mazin and Neil Druckmann (who is also the writer and creative director of the game) attached as executive producers and writers of the pilot. Mazin was the writer and producer of the highly acclaimed miniseries Chernobyl, which was a ratings hit for HBO....

Gone but not forgotten, Henry Cavill has finally shaved off his infamous Justice League mustache and is embracing a new life without his controversial facial appendage. Not since Ned Flanders on The Simpsons has one man been so defined by a mustache, remembering that Cavill’s lip-liner caused no end of problems for Zack Snyder and Joss Whedon’s Justice League. It may seem ridiculous that something as simple as a mustache can cause so much outrage in Hollywood, but the abysmal CGI removal of Cavill’s only added to the many problems that the DCEU’s big ensemble movie struggled with....
