Season 3 of Bryan Fuller’s Hannibal ended with not so much with a cliffhanger as a cliff plunger - an ending that could be interpreted several different ways based on whether or not the series continued. Of course, the series has not continued, having been ignominiously cancelled by NBC instead. Since then, the show’s fans have been riding a rollercoaster of emotions as series creator Bryan Fuller has tried in vain to get the series picked up by a streaming service and then teased a possible movie as an alternative to more TV episodes....

I recently got my hands on the Atomos Ninja Inferno external recorder and monitor for my Panasonic GH5. This 7-inch monitor allows you to record 4K video directly to 2.5-inch SATA SSDs. It’s a wonderful tool for my video workflow, because it allows for extra long recording times, and fast data transfers to my Mac. The only problem is that the external monitor doesn’t ship with the needed USB-enabled caddy for transferring data from the SSD to my MacBook Pro....

Harry Potter: Wizards Unite has released a day early in select markets, suddenly appearing for download in the App Store and Google Play for users located within the United States and United Kingdom. Niantic’s follow-up to the massively successful Pokemon GO is still scheduled for a wider launch tomorrow, June 21, although it’s unclear just how widespread that launch will be. HBO’s 9-episode Watchmen series, created by Damon Lindelof, triumphantly concluded in an emotional and powerful finale that resolved every major storyline, but left some unanswered questions lingering. The worlds of Marvel and DC Comics may be kept separate in films and television, but when it comes to comics, fans know Iron Man references Superman in casual conversation.
