The Silence Of The Lambs featured impeccable performances, direction, and a tight screenplay, and it went on to become a huge success....

Last year, Cisco unveiled Webex Hologram, a service that brings augmented reality to its collaboration platform. Now, the tech giant is working with medical professionals to find the right use cases for its hologram technology, betting that the industry is ready to embrace more immersive experiences. “Care delivery has evolved,” Cisco’s Kedar Ganta said to reporters recently, ahead of this week’s Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) conference. “What we have seen until now is that technology is deployed in care facilities, where everyone has to go,” he said....

Westworld season 3 won’t premiere until 2020, HBO has now confirmed. HBO CEO Richard Plepler shared today that the premium satellite and cable network will begin offering a web-only package sometime in 2015 as it attempts to gain new paid subscribers. A web-only offering for HBO (and other popular networks) is something cable cutters have wanted for years although many argued that the economics of the cable industry wouldn’t make the option feasible for the networks. Plepler, though, cited “the current ten million broadband-only homes” before announcing that HBO will launch “a stand-alone, over-the-top, HBO service” next year....

Insteon, Lutron, iHome, Elgato and Ecobee have all just announced that their HomeKit products are now officially available and/or shipping to customers. The announcements come on the heels of our report that Apple partners planned this week to launch the first products using the company’s new Siri-controlled HomeKit home automation platform, first introduced alongside iOS 8 last year. Insteon’s product is a hub that comes with a new app that will let customers control connected Insteon products, as well as other HomeKit-enabled products from other companies, including lights, door locks, color-changing bulbs, garage door openers, thermostats, and more....
Azkaban is not a place anybody in Harry Potter’s world wants to spend their time. In both the books and the movies, it’s a horrible place with stone-cold walls, hard floors, and is surrounded by the nasty Dementors who feed off human pain and suffering. It’s a place that makes even the toughest jails in the world look like a holiday camp by comparison. Ravenclaw is easily the most interesting house in all of Hogwarts. Sorry, Gryffindors. Those who reside in the blue and bronze living spaces of the castle simply have the most to offer. Not only are Ravenclaws in the Harry Potter series praised for their admirable intellect, but they also cherished for their eccentric personas and highly imaginative minds. Sounds like the coolest Hogwarts house to us! And the coolest Hogwarts house deserves the coolest common room, there is no doubt about it....
