When Apple started using new photos on the boxes of the 10.5-inch iPad Pro, we managed to source the four images before they were included on the units when they were shipped. But there are a bunch more great images pre-loaded on the store demo models, and you can now download them all … A Redditor AirDropped them to himself at the Apple Store and posted them online. He initially used Imgur, but it was quickly pointed out that the site reduces the resolution of images, so they have now been re-uploaded to WeTransfer in full 5K....

Apple appears to be slowly rolling out its new voicemail transcription feature to iOS 10 beta users, as the feature just appeared on my iPhone 6s in the last few minutes. Voicemail transcription is exactly like it sounds: it processes audio from voicemails and displays the message in text form right from within the voicemail interface inside the built-in Phone app. There are no settings or switches that you’ll need to enable to turn voicemail transcription on....

Harry Potter: Wizards Unite dropped an interesting trailer earlier today, hinting at what the story might be when the game releases in 2019. Back in 2013, it seemed a sequel to Man of Steel was practically a given. Update: This appears to be an alternative Apple TV Remote that Apple worked with cable companies to make. As the report below explains, this remote was designed for cable companies, hence the Guide button. It may not be sold by Apple directly, but instead was designed in collaboration between Apple and cable companies. It is being distributed by Universal Electronics. As you can see in the highlighted image, this alternative Remote will be quite different from the Siri Remote, which is basically an ultra-thin remote made of aluminum and glass with few buttons and a touch surface....

Screensaver Basics: Setting the Sleep and Screensaver Timer Sleep and screensaver are two different things. Sleep is when the AppleTV goes dormant. It won’t show an image at that point. One problem you’ll have with your screensaver is if your Apple TV goes to sleep too soon. You’ll want to make sure your sleep timer setting is greater than your screensaver setting. To change sleep’s default time, head to the Settings app....
