On stage at WWDC, Apple officially unveiled iOS 12 with a heavy focus on performance and stability improvements. As for the devices that will get iOS 12, Apple says every device that ran iOS 11 will be able to upgrade to this year’s release… Apple’s Craig Federighi touted that Apple has spent a lot of time focusing on the performance of iOS 12 on older devices. Federighi says that users will notice apps launch 40 percent faster, the keyboard will appear 50 percent faster, and the camera will launch 70 percent faster....

HBO released new Westworld season 2 footage as part of its preview for the impending 2017-2018 TV season. The series was adapted from the 1978 film of the same name, as was written and directed by Jurassic Park writer, Michael Crichton. The original story sees a Wild West theme park populated with robotic Cowboys and Indians, allows the guests to live out every fantasy without facing the consequences. However, following a malfunction in some of the robotic hosts, they begin turn on their guests in a murderous rampage....

David Harbour is on horseback in new images of the Hellboy reboot. After showing up briefly in the first trailer for the film, some characters taken straight out of the comics - alongside the titular Hellboy himself - are shown in clearer detail in a handful of new photos. Over a decade after Guillermo del Toro’s Hellboy II: The Golden Army, Neil Marshall’s reboot is revisiting the half-demon hero from creator Mike Mignola with a fresh coat of paint....

Voldemort may be the main villain in a book and film series that were created primarily for children, however, he is still one of the most frightening and legendary villains of all time. Voldemort is basically the boogeyman come to life, and although many Harry Potter fans are adults now (or were adults when they first started reading the books or watching the movies) it seems safe to assume that the thought of Voldemort still strikes a tinge of fear into their hearts....

Many fans of Harry Potter have noticed that the Gryffindors in the series get special treatment compared to the other houses. Of the four houses, Slytherin and Gryffindor both get the most favoritism from professors, but it’s the Grynffindors that are clearly Dumbledore’s favorite. Seeing that this is the house he was in, it definitely comes off as very biased. While much of the favoritism is directed towards Harry, this isn’t always the case....

Game of Thrones is set to return later this year for its seventh season, which will be shortened to seven episodes from the usual 10. While it’s not yet clear how many episodes the eighth season will have – it was previously thought to be 6, but new information suggests that number is flexible – it will definitely serve as a conclusion to the Game of Thrones saga, at least as far as the television show is concerned....
