As one of the largest fantasy franchises in the world, the Harry Potter books and movies have, without a doubt, an extremely large fan base. To say nothing about J.K. Rowling herself. From the Philosopher’s Stone to the Deathly Hallows, fans are almost religious in their love for the series. That love extends to many of the characters as well. However, there is one character which is nearly universally hated by all Potterheads and even casual watchers....

The world of Harry Potter is full of complex characters. So complex and divisive are some of these characters, that many fans still have yet to come to a complete agreement on their attributes or status in the fandom. Snape is without a doubt one of those characters. Love him or hate him, you’ve got to admit that Snape did some pretty horrible things in his time at Hogwarts. Perhaps some of his worst behavior was directed at the students....

Tom Felton thinks Harry Potter will be rebooted someday, wants to play Lucius. The Harry Potter film star was a definite highlight as Draco Malfoy, Harry Potter’s Hogwarts nemesis, in the hugely successful eight-film franchise. As son of Lucius Malfoy – the notorious Death Eater and dedicated servant to Lord Voldemort – Felton took on a character that many despised throughout J.K. Rowling’s seven Harry Potter novels. At the same time, however, his inclusion in the series was essential and Felton’s portrayal did exactly what the character was best at – namely getting under people’s skin in a very smug and arrogant manner....

Hasbro unveiled new additions to their Star Wars Black Series, including characters from The Clone Wars and The Force Awakens. San Diego Comic-Con is the ideal place for big studios to reveal new releases, concept art, footage, and more, but it’s also a good event for toy companies to share their new products. Fans and collectors can always rely on Hasbro for quality and variety when it comes to toys, and naturally, the company has a big presence at the convention with panels and booths to display their latest products....

He caught what he said was likely an Apple employee hunched over the device on the way home from work in San Francisco earlier this week. Warner Bros. have announced a new streaming service called HBO Max, but this is not expected to affect their other platform, DC Universe. Launching back in September last year, DC Universe offers superhero fans a hub for DC’s television and movie output. Sounds like the relationship between Hellboy and Professor Broom will be more strained in the forthcoming reboot. Hellboy creator Mike Mignola hopes that the upcoming reboot spawns a cinematic universe. After years of campaigning, Guillermo del Toro confirmed earlier this year that Hellboy III simply wasn’t going to happen.
