Harry Potter fans might think that they know the wizarding world inside and out, but J.K. Rowling’s unyielding imagination leaves a lot to be remembered. Those who have only seen the films are privy to even less, sometimes vital, information which can make the movies themselves seem a bit complicated at times. The Elder Wand, for example, had only been fully fleshed after the last book’s publication in 2007. And websites like Pottermore help to fill in the blanks that Potter enthusiasts are keen on knowing in order to fully grasp Harry’s cultivated universe....

Harry Potter has an incredible ensemble cast full of amazing characters. From witches and wizards to muggles and even magical creatures. While it all comes together to create one incredible experience, unfortunately, what it does mean is that many characters don’t get as much dedicated screen time. While Harry, Ron, and Hermione get plenty of time to develop alongside several other lead characters. Luckily, as Harry gets older, he does get to have some positive parental figures in his life. More than one year since HBO launched HBO Max, it’s now following an Apple TV+ strategy. The streaming service will start to offer free episodes of its best TV shows for non-subscribers. According to a blog post by WarnerMedia, starting now, “potential new subscribers in the US” are offered “the opportunity to watch select episodes of some of the platform’s most popular programming in-app before they sign up.” This offer includes 13 episodes of HBO and Max Originals, with new titles being rotated in and out of the collection periodically....

The 25th annual Critics’ Choice Awards saw HBO dominate, as they won the most awards for television at the ceremony in Santa Monica, California. HBO is currently gearing up for the release of their streaming service HBO Max, which launches in May, and it is expected to be a home for future DC series’ like Green Lantern and Strange Adventures. However, their existing network TV shows seem to continue growing and gaining more and more appreciation as time goes on....

Earlier today Apple officially previewed iOS 11 at its Worldwide Developer Conference and to coincide with the introduction of the new 10.5-inch iPad Pro, there are a host of new iPad features in the update. Justice League star Henry Cavill says the DC films have made the “right mistakes.” Cavill starred in the soft launch of Warner Bros’ DC Comics-based universe, leading Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel in 2013, and returned for another starring role - and co-headlining with the Dark Knight - in Snyder’s 2016 followup, Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice.
